Download gurushots data for android

Just be warned that it can get difficult to raise in rankings. Lot's of fun and very addictive! I love all the different challenges. I highly recommend GuruShots for any level of photographer.

So fun, and encouraging! I love seeing tge world through other people's eyes, and the perspectives are so beautiful! It helps you to organize yourself with photography. You get to see other professionals "Gurus" share their work and it helps with inspo. However, if you are not a "Guru" don't expect to win any of the challanges and money prices.

The competitions also are not separate, meaning that both beginners and professionals can compete. The app says that it has to be original pictures and the pictures have to pertain to the challange. When I look at the pictures there a bunch selfie with those snapchat or Instagram filters that have nothing to do with the challenge. Some are pictures that are professional, but taken by others, you can tell because they are the same pics that circulate in Instagram on fake accounts.

If not, they are photos that have nothing to do with the challange. The rules for the challanges say that these type of pictures will be disqualified, but I don't see them being taken down. Is like no one is monitoring that. This is a really cool and fun app for anybody that love to take pictures if you have a decent camera come join and lets see what you can do. I just downloaded this app a couple days ago and can say that it is fun to take photos and be apart of a challenge, but I think that some of it is very unfair.

You only get about 3 of each boost to start with but once you're out, you're out. The next levels require you to pay for more boosts.

Unless you make it to the 1 rank in the challenge. Which all of the "Guru's" get because they're all at the top. I think that you should at least get one of each boost a day or play an ad to get one boost and restrict how many times you play an ad a day.

Although this app is quite unfair, I still want to build my career off of it to become a photographer. I, like countless others, have played this game for many years. Although I recognize the gripes that others may have about it you must understand that this is a game and only a game. It is easy to forget and assume that this is a photo contest. If you get caught up in this line of thinking you will be sorely disappointed.

If you can keep it in your head that this is only a game and playing it well matters more than the quality of your photos, you will do well. The magic is in the timing. Timing of your entry, timing of your swaps, timing of your boosts. I absolutely love the whole idea behind the app, and what you can do with it, and how it works.

I have hit high rankings on my photos, and met swap requirements, but I am still Beginner. Not sure how. Another is the voting system. Voting to increase the exposure they get can lead to unattractive photos winning in the long run. Other than that, I love this app.

For beginners this would be a great step in gaining confidence in your work because other people may like it a lot. There are categories for just about anything. Overall, great experience! I LOVE this app so much, i have had this app for a few years now, i can enjoy others who love this hobby of photography and share to the world and show eachother support and show love and all that jazz.

The problem I've had with this app recently was that the new updates make it feel like a weird version of Tinder I guess It feels not so pleasant and somewhat not professional, i want to not be the one to judge everything by swiping left or right, i just want to enjoy it all.

I love this app— its a great idea and a fun game. There are a few things I would change. First, the layout, I find it more difficult than it should be to find the list of challenges to enter.

Second, I wish there was a little bit better of a ranking system for photographers. Maybe a little background info on each photographer that would then categorize them.

If there were different categories to enter within each challenge, I think it would overall be more fun. I also am not too sure I like the be featured in a gallery option.. Ultimately not really an accurate way to see where you stand as a photographer. You just have to get a certain number of votes to be considered good, instead of finishing within a certain percentile. However, the winning photos are always well composed, so there is some validity to it.

This app has done a lot for my creativity. This app helped me get back into photography with its challenges and new themes that it has helped me focus on making new great images. I love the idea behind this app That just clogs up the airwaves for other people.

I love seeing all the talent, as well. It stops music when surfing around the app and sometimes when starting it, kinda irritating. Would appreciate if this gets figured out. Thank you. Yes, it is true that to win a challenge you have to keep voting. But I love testing how my pictures go and learned a lot about composition and themes to photograph.

It taught me to look at things from different points of view and focus on original ways to look at scenes. Also a lot of people post absurdly silly photos, but is a game.. Great idea and love the challenges but the biggest challenge of all is actually having a real chance to win any of the challenges! Most challenges and Guru top picks are won by Guru status photographers which is very frustrating and discouraging. Wondering why they even get the chance to compete with lower ranked photographers trying to move up.

I highly recommend this app to people who want to their photos to be seen and to see where they stand in photography!! Overall poor app design. I logged in with Facebook. Next screen asks me to share my best shots, offering Instagram or from device. I don't have my photos on my device, so I chose Instagram. It doesn't open the Instagram app to log in, but opens a browser. I log in and get prompted to confirm my Instagram account.

After I do, it takes me straight back to the Instagram login page. Moreover, if I exit, I can even submit a bug report or anything. The only option is to upload photos, which I can't do. Over all I give this application a 5 start rating. I love GuruShots and I would highly recommend it to every photographer I know. I was a little nervous about this app, Now I love it. Nothing makes you feel so good like seen other liking you pictures or voting for your work.

Plus it makes me want to go out and do more, fun and creative stuff. This is a great game and I love it as a photographer as I am learning while playing. Although in the last week or so there have been some glitches or maybe updates but my mobile voting process is slower than before.

It is set up like the voting set up for the computer and makes it difficult to vote when you have a short time to vote. Its very frustrating. Please fix this. I am so glad I joined the site.

I have seen the most beautiful, fantastic photos I could ever imagine. There is so much talent here. Everyone that has photos should join and start showing your talent. I love this site , and I find myself taking more and more photos of anything and everything. Thanks to everyone for sharing your talent with me. I have been doing photography since I got my first Kodak Brownie when I was a little kid. I am now 65, and enjoy taking photos of just about everything! Being involved with GuruShots has really benefited my various photos because I can always see how to improve myself by looking at the pictures other people submit!

I hope that one day I will be fortunate enough to be able to actually see a photo of mine either in print or at a gallery. Thank you GuruShots! I have not really got a chance to really use it to much because the app doesn't make it easy to upload photos. The day I downloaded it, the app said upload 1 photo to start but did not give me any option to upload more after. It is now a few days later and the option to upload photos from my device is there and then it is not.

And when I picked a new photo from my device, the photo did not upload. Seems like it could be a fun app. I'm trying to get back into taking pictures which is something I love. And, unlike a game, we are supposed to be judged on merit or talent in the creative fields. I like the app, but it is a competition that asks you to pay to be seen or vote so many times that it becomes tiresome. A photo game where you can upload your photos and submit them to challenges and vote on the best images.

But the majority of photos are snapshots at best. I have a hard time finding good photos to vote on and end up just voting for the ones that seems like the person somewhat tried to take a decent photo. In reading through other reviews, it seems that I am not the only one with this issue. I really do enjoy seeing the work of fellow photographers and photo enthusiasts! The theme based challenges have helped me hone my skills and have focused my appreciation for my own strengths, while challenging me to experiment and explore new areas and themes.

However, GuruShots has provided motivation for me to review and organizational my own collection of work. Every other page loads but that one. I tried deleting the app and logging out but nothing works. Only way to access the activity page is to go on the website version, not the app. Please fix this!! I tend to see lots of selfies and mom pics with people taking pictures of their kids in totally off topic challenges and it is just very anniying along with just not even photographer pics.

Other than that I love this app. Edit: some challenges are just trashed with Snapchat filter selfies and mom pics with their kids. Don't get me wrong it's cute but this isn't really the community looking for that I in particular am looking for inspiration for my hobby and I have good lenses and a dlsr and it hurts to see so many people call their filtered selfies "photography.

I use this app and I enjoy seeing my pictures out there and seeing what other people are doing. No way, though, can I take these contests seriously. What bothers me even more than the out-of-focus selfies and soft-core shots of girlfriends and all are the ripoffs of professional photos.

I doubt very much that someone who has, say, sold a photo as a screensaver would also post it to Gurushots, but I see those all the time — not just posted, but also Guru Selects. The Gurushot people should be culling those images, not rewarding them. I use it for my own amusement and leave it at that.

However, there are a few issues. And the way the ranking jumps is insane. Overall I really enjoy the competition, but some things could definitely be improved. Was enjoying this very much and love to see others photos.

Joined the new team feature, unfortunately it seems as though photos can go hours without a single vote, regardless of boosting or voting on other photos. Hardly seems fair when you are competing with another team. I just played in a match. It was 6 hour match. After the first hour, no more votes. I voted. Meter full. Not even one more vote on all 4 photos.

I have wasted fills. But not I guess I am wasting my time. The app is fun to use. For example one of the main part of this app is swapping pictures to get points. When I informed them that I just updated it to the latest update a day ago I got no response back.

Still buggy! This app is awesome! Definitely enjoy using it and seeing the positive feedback it brings. Welcoming to all levels of experience and preferences.

Challenges are very cool, always interesting, and rapidly changing! This app does, however, need major improvements with bug issues, uploading abilities, issues with swap utilization and ranking. Also needs a method of scanning for copyright issues to avoid the use of Googled images inserted into the challenges as fair submissions.

All in all, great app, just needs development work! I like it - it may keep you busy and may put you in position or buying their power kits but with your buying anything from you can still enjoy the app and climb the ladder and learn a lot from your team mates and make new friends. See the world from my million perceptives.

Great job GuruShots team. Am already champion in it and will the right way to climb to master and guru. I used your product to recover my photos from a broken Samsung smartphone. Thanks so much! Many then desperately try to restart the download of GuruShots — Photography, but this does not lead to any useful result either. The next attempt by many will be to check the internet connection.

If GuruShots — Photography is downloading very slowly, it could also be due to the size of the app itself. The progress bar gives you a slow download, but this may only appear because of the size of the app.
